Greyfriars Bobby

A talented man called Billy Thompson from Edinburgh decided to create a 10kg statue of Greyfriars Bobby from excess cheese he had over his Christmas holidays.

For anyone who hasn’t heard about Breyfriars Bobby, the story is well known in Scotland, he was a Skye Terrier or Dandle Dinmont Terrier. It was back in the 19th century in Edinburgh, that he would come and guard his masters grave everyday, which he did for 14 years, intil he died in 1872. Such a devoted dog, there has been several books and films produced about him and of course he has his own statue.

I think it is a great creative thing to do with your left over cheese. What do you think? Here is a link to check it out for yourself.
